Aleddra, a Seattle-based high tech company in LED lighting, is pleased to announce its first wellness lighting product for the consumer market. The NEW patented deodorization lamp removes bad odor, bacteria, and viruses from the air. This is just another testimony to Aleddra’s commitment to Better Light for a Better Life.
The deodorization lamp with its built-in fan draws in the “bad” air through a pre-filter and that air is passed through a ceramic filter that is coated with a photo-catalyst material, ViraPure® nano Titanium Dioxide (TiO2). The photo-catalyst are irradiated by a UV light source which creates a hyperactive oxidation layer on the surface of the ceramic filter. As the air flows through the ceramic filter, the airborne odor particles, bacteria, or viruses come in contact with the hyperactive oxidation layer and is decomposed into carbon dioxide and water. This same technology has been used in hospitals for years, but with much larger equipment. Aleddra has been able to package the same technology into this small LED lamp. The Deodorization Lamp is perfect for household use and works to promote wellness in the home.
The deodorization lamp has two operating modes (auto and manual). In auto mode, the PIR sensor turns off the LED light if no motion is detected for 3 minutes, thus saving energy. There is no need to replace either the pre-filter or the photo-catalyst filter because they can be cleaned and reused.
