Stony Creek Early Learning Center

As the days grew shorter and nights longer, the Stony Creek Learning Center was getting more concerned. The parking area and driveway were too dark. Previously, they had decorative mounted wall sconces and light spillage from local utility street lights. The facility’s main focus was the safety of the parents and children.

In partnership with Miller-Eads, we assessed where the new light poles could be installed to maximize lighting distribution. We were also considering the amount of materials needed to provide an excellent even coverage of light on the property’s parking lot and entry pick-up/drop-off drive. In total, three new 20′ parking lot poles were installed with 1 fixture per pole. The parking area was using the 110W Type 4 Optic in 5000K with a House Side Shield and the front drive had the 110W Type 5 Optic in 5000K before we upgraded them.

The learning center is now using the area lightsquare street poles, and universal pole mounting bracket by ILP.
